Class Overview
What will we do?
This class will serve as our primary introduction to the concept of agentic automation, which involves the use of AI agents that can perform tasks autonomously and adaptively. We will discuss how agentic automation differs from traditional RPA and explore its potential applications in accounting and finance. The class will include a hands-on lab where students will have the opportunity to build a simple agentic automation workflow using UiPath's platform, which may include the use of LLMs for generative tasks or decision-making processes. We will also discuss best practices for designing and implementing agentic automation solutions. On the practical side of the class we will implement agents using UiPath's platform, by integrating agents into a Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) workflow.
