Description
This class examines how analytical results can be used to support accounting and business decisions. Data-driven decision making is important because the purpose of analysis is not simply to calculate results, but to use relevant evidence to select or support an appropriate action.
Motivation
How do we turn analytical results into an accounting or business decision?
Review
The course has developed several ways to produce and evaluate analytical evidence from transactions, financial statements, disclosures, and AI-assisted analysis. This class shifts the focus from producing evidence to determining how that evidence can inform a decision.
